  1. Dave, I wish you and your family(including Crystal) a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I am very turned off by politics right now. I rarely post anywhere. Maybe I will perk up when the new President takes office. Take care and again, have a Very Merry Christmas πŸ™‚

    • I hope you and yours had a Merry Christmas, Heather! Sorry I missed you here. Things have been “dead” all over the place and, like you, I’ve no interest in what’s happening in D.C. now and probably won’t be for at least 3 years.

As you may have seen here on my blog, my final show is tomorrow at 10 AM Pacific on KMET 1490 AM. This time, it will be at least a 3-year haitus.

Maybe by the time 2019 rolls around, I may again be interested in politics.

All the sites I was using to get the stories and commentary for the Show have thrown in with the Madman, so I cannot use them. In fact, I boycotted them. They include Fox News, Drudge, Breitbart, WND and American Border Patrol.

      I’ll still be blogging here.

      Dave L.

  2. Sen Ted Cruz : “Thanksgiving is a time of profound reflection and gratitude. As families and loved ones in Texas and across the country gather together, let us all stand united in recognition of the divine and enduring promise of America – a promise that led the Pilgrims to their first Thanksgiving and that has since been sought by so many. America’s sovereignty, freedom, and providential splendor, designed by our Creator, secured by our Constitution, and defended by our Armed Forces, act as a beacon of hope across the globe.
This Thanksgiving, like those of the past, we pause simply to acknowledge and appreciate the bounty of our Lord, our lives, and our country. Heidi and I wish a peaceful, meaningful, and joyous Thanksgiving to each of you and your families, and together, in the spirit of the Book of Psalms, we recognize that our cup runneth over.”

God blessings to all Happy Thanksgiving from my family and I to all of you.

  3. Did our military overseas have any problem voting this time? Wasn’t it in 2012 when either states didn’t get them ballots in time or the ballots weren’t returned in time, so they weren’t going to count their votes?

  4. Dave, I hope you and Crystal are doing well πŸ™‚

I am so burnt out on this filthy election cycle, that I’m not blogging that much.

    • It’s been “bone dry” here for a week now. AF has been away, too. TRS is doing great business, however. I’ve been commenting there though late.

Btw, my show has now officially moved to Tuesdays at 10 AM Pacific sandwiched in between syndicated shows of Clark Howard and Dave Ramsey.

Thanks for asking about Crystal! She’s doing great. I generally show her at the beginning of the Show om livestream.

  5. I hope this is the beginning of a great week for everyone. Don’t let the election stress get to you. I have found that reading my bible more each day and exercising more has made for stress-free days πŸ™‚

  6. I hope everybody has a great weekend and I am looking forward to your show tomorrow, Dave, starring ‘The Patriot Kitty’ πŸ™‚

    • Yes, she did! Then, after we got her in, after the Show ended, she hid where we couldn’t find her! Finally, I found her. Being deaf in one ear, she can’t always hear us.

      • Yes I did enjoy your show. I posted that you were on, at the other place so people could see. As long as you keep your show info up there, I will be ok and I will pass it on πŸ™‚

        • Glad you enjoyed it, Heather! You’re REALLY gonna like Saturday’s show–Patriot Kitty’s Birthday! She’ll be 8. We have a big pink and white party for her on Sunday.

          • Mimi will be 8 too. She is about a month younger then Crystal. We are both looking forward to Saturday’s show πŸ™‚

  7. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Enjoy the College football, baseball playoffs, pre-season basketball or whatever, just as long as you have a great time πŸ™‚

    • Pressure has to be put on the RNC powers-that-be to replace Trump with a Conservative leader. There are only TWO in the Senate who did not endorse Trump–Sen. Lee and Sen. Sasse.

There are but a few Conservatives in the House who have not endorsed Trump who have excellent voting records–Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) and Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL) who ran against Ryan for Speaker.

  8. I had not watched the Presidential debate and will not watch the next two, but I did watch last night’s VP debate, thinking they would act more sane. I think my kitty, Mimi, summed it up pretty well when I asked her what she thought of it as we were sitting there watching. She went and sat next to a bag of her kitty litter that I have stored in a cupboard under my bathroom sink. LOL

    • Hi Heather,

Just got off the phone with KMET’s owner and the Dir. of Marketing and college football will be preempting my show on 10/8, so NO SHOW on October 8th! I will be doing the Show on Saturdays at the usual time (5 PM Eastern) on October 15th, 22nd and 29th.

HOWEVER, I’ll be doing the next 5 Tuesdays (sandwiched in between the nationally syndicated shows of Clark Howard and Dave Ramsey) beginning Tuesday, October 11th at 1 PM Eastern Time right up to and including Election Day!–October 11th, 18th and 25th.

In November, I’ll do the first two Tuesdays–November 1st and 8th (Election Day)–but due to college football, will not be doing the Show on the first two Saturdays–November 5th and 12th. I’ll be back on Saturdays on November 19th and 26th.

  9. Good Morning everybody. I hope everyone has a great day πŸ™‚

Dave, just want to let you know we are trying to generate some more bloggers for this site by getting the word out over at the other site. I enjoy having different sites to go to. This election cycle has kind of spoiled some of the fun, since it has divided us into smaller groups who are all feeling the frustration and anger of this election cycle.

    • Thanks, Heather!

I believe in letting things take their own time to come around. That other site is a great site that’s been around a long time. This blog is just two weeks old.

That being said, I welcome any and all #NeverTrump Patriots to this site. You and the others here are making it grow–thanks so much, Heather!

    • Thanks, NOT2L8!

Spondheim is a big drug legalization guy and, I’m guessing is pro-Amnesty but it’s kind of hard to tell (looking at his platform)…

      • Thanks Dave.
I ran across his site while looking for a live stream for the debate that I ended up not watching. He seemed funny but it could’ve been the bourbon. πŸ™‚

  10. Great show Dave πŸ™‚

I tried to post my message and a window popped up that said error-message too short. LOL.

I’m shy and sometimes my posts are short. I will remember next time to post more then 3 words and a happy face πŸ™‚

    • I’m adding her photos now as per your suggestion–thanks, Heather!

Btw, she’s a very finicky kitty re: canned food but we lucked out yesterday when The Peanut Gallery brought home some Trufood Chicken Pumpkin and Turkey Dinner (one of the “healthy” cat foods, no meat bi-products) which she has made her second favorite wet food. We really don’t want her to be on kibble as we can’t give her enough to fill her up or she’ll blow. Now, if we can find one more healthy wet food…she’s tried most of them. The negative: Trufood is $2 per small plastic can.

We had her on Evangers SP Rabbit and Quail and SP Duck Dinners but they suddenly changed these by removing the gravy and turning their once solid wet food into an unpleasant “mush” which of course she won’t eat. Trying to get the owners in Illinois to return to their old recipe!

        • Your sister is awesome, AF! We’re BIG pet lovers at The Dave Levine Show. Animal/pet cruelty-torture is a big deal to us which is why I post stories about it. Pets depend on us for love, nourishment and survival. Crystal was lucky not to be one of those 60-plus Turkish Angoras who were tortured, starved and beaten in that horrific Long Island case (the evil bastard former breeder, Roger Barrett). About 20 of her relatives (second nephews, nieces et al) weren’t so lucky…

        • Thanks for posting Crystal’s picture. She is beautiful. My kitty is Mimi and she is in my avatar on the other site. She is on prescription food and it is both can and dry. It is Hill’s dd duck formula. She loves it. She had become a very finicky eater and it caused a few temporary problems so the vet put her on this and she is fine now.

          • Thanks for the input, Heather! Glad Mimi likes her Hills. We tried it and Crystal won’t eat it. We just tried the second flavor of the Trufood Chicken-Carrot-Chicken Liver and she loves it, as well! So, we now have three wet foods she’ll eat, 2 two that won’t make her sick. Of course, they’re $2/can!
